biography

DOROTHEE BOETTCHER - born and raised in North Germany.  

Coming from the field of computer science,  I have worked as a software engineer and technical writer with an affinity for film and storytelling.

Over time, creative writing developed into a passion.  I started collecting ideas.  Exploring genres.  Finding my own way to approach stories.  And understood - with all these restrictions, rules and formulas - that screenwriting is the perfect form of writing for me, given my technical background.

My objective is to create experience and triggering emotions.   I want my stories acting directly on our heart, otherwise it has no meaning at all.
